Am I willing to go to multiple locations?
It depends on the type of session. I only allow multiple locations for senior portraits. How many locations do I suggest? People typically only do 2 spots but I've had some sessions that go to 3. It depends on how far each location is from each other as well. The more locations you do, the less time you have at each.
Is it okay to do an outfit change?
OF COURSE! I love outfit changes! Usually I suggest to have 1-2 outfits (especially for seniors), 3 at most. If you would like more outfit changes, just let me know ahead of time so I can plan ahead and keep track of timing and amount of photos in each outfit at time of session. If you chose to not do an outfit change that is totally okay too!
How can I expect the session to go?
During the session, I try to make my clients as comfortable as possible as well as make sure they are having fun at the same time. Photos can sometimes be intimating so I go with the flow and try and capture the candid moments as well as posed to give clients a nice variety.
What time do you typically schedule photo sessions?
I try to schedule photo sessions during the golden hour which means either at sunrise or sunset to avoid shadows on faces. I typically start my sessions 2/3 hours before sunset. So, for example, if sun sets at 6pm, I would suggest we start our session between 3:30pm/4pm to give us enough time before we run out of light.
Do I have to order prints through you?
I do not do any ordering of photos at the moment. You can download the photos to your mobile device or computer and order prints from the site of your choosing.
When should I expect my photos to be completed?
I usually tell clients to give me 2-3 weeks to get the photos/download code to you. If you purchase an add-on it may take a bit longer.
